Navigating the Digital Safety Net

I helped researchers in Bangladesh and from the University of Edinburgh turn their findings into a clear, compelling story for policymakers.

We decided to illustrate their findings through the story of one applicant, Sharma, and the challenges she faced seeking old age allowance.

I used animated line drawings to bring her story to life.
A special mode without any visible navigation allowed the DataSense researchers to use the story in presentations with local government officials.
